How to make the perfect matcha ice cream

What you’ll need:

1 tablespoon Tea Tonic matcha powder (we have options of platinum, elderflower and peach)

1 cup whole milk

2 cups heavy whipping cream

¾ cup white sugar

2 eggs
Matcha ice cream making process:
- Start with a bowl of matcha powder and whisk it up.
- Add in some milk to make sure everything is nice and smooth. Keep adding more until you've created the perfect creamy mixture.

Heat your cream and matcha blend in the pot, occasionally stirring until you get that blissfully warm snack — just five minutes away from perfection.

Give the sugar and eggs a gentle whisk in your bowl, then pour half of that delicious hot matcha mixture to combine. Repeat with the remaining mix for good measure until everything's incorporated - now all you have left is pouring it back into its pot.

Cook and stir your mix on low-medium heat until it's toasty warm. Then let the concoction cool off before sticking it in the fridge for at least four hours.

After the matcha mixture has cooled, freeze it in an ice cream machine.
